Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow security program encompassing both internal and external controls across entire portfolio.
- Integrate businesses into security and IT programs.
- Work across portfolios to promote secure engineering practices and provide guidance on remediation.
- Lead compliance program around NIST, SOC-2, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including FP&A, Human Resources, Product & Technology, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.
- Drive accountability for the delivery of several workstreams against their deliverables.
- Identify and solve emerging problems; know when to escalate issues to move them forward and, when faced with ambiguity, step into the void to find solutions.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Thrive in a fast-paced team atmosphere with the confidence to adjust and adapt as priorities change.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in IT security and IT management roles in either an M&A environment or with multiple, diverse lines of business.
- 5+ years’ experience as a people manager.
- Demonstrated performance building and maintaining a security practice through the lifecycle of a company, from early stages to maturity.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in technology.
- CISSP (Cybersecurity certification) or similar certification, or equivalent experience.
- Know the OWASP Top Ten and be familiar with security frameworks like NIST.
- Knowledge of common IT systems in the Microsoft and Google ecosystems.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly communicate the big picture.
- Collaborative, team player.
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
- Experience working in a SaaS company.
- Proven ability to work directly with all levels of leadership.
